TPP2tennssmallThe Teen Parent Program and Child Development Center offers pregnant and parenting students the opportunity to continue their High School education, learn Life and Parenting Skills, learn about Human Development and Explore Career Options.

The curriculum is directed at parenting teen students and sequentially covers a broad range of topics.

The Teen Parent Program and Child Development Center is an enhancement program to the regular education each student receives from their home school (Marshfield High School, CE2, or Destinations Public Charter School) in the Coos Bay School District.  Up to 6 credits can be received from the Parenting component.

 

State Certified Child Development Center

 

ChildDevelsmallThe vision for the center is based on the philosophy of providing an atmosphere where children and their parents have the opportunity and resources to learn and grow.

The District has provided a staff that meets all of the State Certification requirements for Child Care providers.  The Center staff is trained in Early Childhood Education, and is Criminal History Registry checked through the State of Oregon.  We provide quality care for our students with an emphasis on growth and development for their children.

Student’s children 6-weeks to 5 years
