Admission is by application. Mission Statement Destinations Academy is a family of students, parents, staff and community members dedicated to excellence in education and life long personal success for all students. Destinations Academy is designed for students interested in meeting their goals. Population Destinations Academy serves a diverse learning population, grades 9-12. Our instructional programs are primarily content integrated and project-based with an emphasis on “in the community/service learning approaches.” Families are an integral part of our school community and we encourage family involvement in all aspects of the school. Destinations has an Advisory Board and is under the jurisdiction of the Coos Bay School District and its board, policies and procedures. Destinations has two full-time certified teachers, one educational assistant, a secretary, and an administrator. We plan to “grow” our school to meet the continuing needs of our community.
